Actually, you're right: I've not heard this phrase in a while. But that doesn't make you a geezer that you remember it: I used to hear it all the time and I am still young enough to trust myself (although only until July).
 

I used it yesterday then had the strange feeling that it wasn't understood. That's happening a lot these days, it drives me wild.
