Now That Conservatives Are Fan Dancing More Nervously Than A Neophyte Methodist Burlesque Queen

to cover up the multiple disasters they've brought on us, let's not let them run away from their part in the Bush II disaster.

The great lesson of the past quarter of a century of conservative Republican dominance isn't found in any historical or philosophical consideration. It is that conservatism is at is deepest core based on selfishness, greed, a willingness to commit violence to further the ends of selfishness and the achievement of selfish goals at the cost of anyone who can be exploited.

Anyone who tries to look deeper than that is deluding themselves and wasting time. Conservatives who try to go deeper are lying as they always do. Look at what happens instead of what is said. That's where you'll find the truth of it.

The panic of Republicans at the prospect of young Bush bringing a disaster unparalleled in our history and what it means for THEM is hardly the collapse of the right. It's a cover story. Never forget that it was the George Wills, William Buckleys and their younger blades who foisted George W. Bush on the country. They stole two elections for him to gain power. Now it's all gone to hell.

They broke it, they bought it. Works the other way round, too.

Comments:
That may be the best reduction of conservatism I've read in a long time. Bravo!

It guarantees them a permanent following.

I like your style, olvlzl! Sorry I don't get over here as much as I ought to.

Thank you, Sam, Eli, Ahab.

It's been a strange summer but I'm hoping to be able to write more next month.

As a regular at Roger Ailes', I always enjoy your comments. Both to my guest posts, to the other guest posters, and to Roger's posts. You're obviously a very committed liberal.
